frequently asked questions
- How do we get started?
-
Feel free to fill in the form below, or call, email, text, message me on Instagram or send smoke signals so we can get started with your consultation and set up a date and time that works best for both of us.
- Are we a good fit?
-
This is a great question. We really need to know if we have chemistry, don't we? The easiest way to do that is to get on the phone or video call and get to know each other a little. Please be ready with a few details about who you would like photographed, what you would like to do with the prints and some of your favorite things to do - all this will help us figure out if we click...see what I did there?
- What should we wear for a family photo session?
-
Okay, so there are a lot of options on this. We can discuss it during the consultation, but a good starting point is to have one core outfit but just throw scarves, hats, sweaters in a laundry basket and bring it along (with a few of your kids favorite things) and we can mix things up throughout the session. As long as you're family stays true to who they are it will be great - this coming from a photographer who had the amazing experience of photographing a family of four in their full Totoro costumes!
- Do you photograph families with their pets too?
-
Always! I have a chemical imbalance that makes me have NO FEAR when it comes to animals. It's weird, I know, but I love the interaction of people with their lovable fur-babies. Check out the Portraits page for a few of my fave pet photos.
- Where are you located?
-
Normally we spend half our time in the Los Angeles area and half our time in the San Francisco Bay Area in California. However, we LOVE to travel and schedule regular visits to Boston, Providence, New York, Vermont, Massachusetts, Orange County (California), San Diego, the U.K. and Western Europe. Just fill out the contact form or give us a call to discuss where you would like your photo session. I will fly to the moon for my valued clients, so just ask and we will work on getting together, together!
